Sunday Mornings at C3
We’ve done our homework, and we found out that people avoid church because they have to dress up and because they too often can’t find meaning in what they hear. We want to strip away all of those barriers. This is why we offer great music with a full band, messages with topics relevant to everyday life, and a casual relaxed atmosphere. There’s no dress code – jeans or shorts are great! We believe people matter to God, and he accepts us just the way we are, and C3 does too!
Volunteer at C3
The heartbeat of Cross Community Church is our volunteers. Each Sunday, it takes literally hundreds of people to make C3 happen. We believe that God created each of us with a purpose, and we all play a vital part in what God wants to do in the Church. There are many opportunities to serve at C3, and we want to help you find the area that best suits you.
Help C3 create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests and C3′ers through greeting, ushering, handing out refreshments or manning our welcome center.
Be a part of creating an engaging experience every week at C3 by being a part of our worship, sound, lighting, or tech teams.
Share God’s love with children by creating a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for C3′s kids’ ministry
Help equip the next generation by creating a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for C3′s student ministry
Be a part of C3′s set up, tear down, or admin teams to make sure C3 runs smoothly.
We know that volunteering for a ministry in a church can be a daunting thing. You might worry that you won’t know what to do, how to do it, or if you’d even like a volunteer ministry you’re interested in. Because of this, we offer Volunteer First Look and Volunteer First Serve.
During any of our services in any of our ministry areas, you can sit in with other volunteers as they serve. You will have the opportunity to observe what the ministry is like and ask the volunteers serving that day any questions you might have. There’s no obligation to sign up, and you can check out as many different ministries as you’d like before you decide to get more involved.
It can be a tad overwhelming to serve for the first time, so with Volunteer First Serve, you can try your hand at serving in a volunteer ministry alongside other volunteers who are already involved. They will explain to you what to do and answer any questions you might have. There’s no obligation beyond the single Sunday you are serving in. This allows you to try out a volunteer ministry before committing to join the team.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
Want to sign up to try out a volunteer area? Let us know a little bit about you and what you are interested in, and we will get you more information about test driving a volunteer area at C3.
A question that has been at the heart of who we are as a church is “how would the community feel if we no longer opened our doors?” Would they notice? Would they care? Or, would they feel like the community is missing out because Cross Community Church no longer existed?
Saved People Serve People
Nearly every month, C3 has an outreach project that aims to make our community a little better and share God’s love in a practical way to those who live around us. C3 has always been a generous church because we believe that God wants us to care about those outside of our church just as much as he does.
